The Book of Galatians (NEW CLASS)
Class begins on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EST.
This class meets weekly for eight (8) weeks.
What does it really mean to be a Christian? Are we to live by faith, by the law or a little of both? How are we to handle conflict with other Christians? What does freedom by faith in Christ really mean? These and other questions are addressed by Paul to the believers in Galatia. Having biblical answers to these questions are just as critical today as it was to the original readers. This study is designed to help us navigate these and others issues so that we can actually learn to walk in the spirit.

*Registration is currently closed for the following classes.

Have you ever felt abandoned, left out, alone, that life is unfair or that there was no one to come to your defense? In rich and striking detail, this study shows us that no matter what trials come our way or how difficult our lives may be, Jesus is both our Redeemer and Defender to rescue and rebuild our broken lives. What happens when God is taken for granted by His children? What happens when God’s children are not grateful or thankful for the many blessings that God gives them? In the book of Judges, we’ll learn the good, the bad and the unthinkable! This book pulls no punches in showing the full spectrum of human depravity. Some commit their actions in the name of righteous and some in the name of evil. What this book teaches applies to our time more than ever! Life is full of twists and turns; ups and downs that can catch all of us by surprise. How should we handle these difficult moments? Do we wonder where God is during these times? In the book of Philippians, we’ll learn how to have joy through suffering. Although Paul was in prison when he wrote this book, he writes about Jesus being our strength through it all and shows us how we too can shout with joy and rejoice, even in during life’s most difficult moments.

The Book of Isaiah
(continuing class)

Have you ever wondered how God could use a sinner like you? First and Second Kings show us how, despite the persistent sins of Israel’s leaders, Israel’s God remained faithfully present – leading, guiding, redeeming at every turn. Come join our class and see how God used even the worst of sinners. Revival and rebellion! The book of Isaiah gives great insight into something that is often-misunderstood: the character and nature of God. Isaiah not only reveals God’s judgment against sin, he also reveals God’s mercy, grace, compassion and ultimately, salvation through the Messiah.
More than any other book in the Old Testament, Isaiah focuses on the salvation that will come through the Messiah. The Messiah will one day rule in justice and righteousness. The reign of the Messiah will bring peace and safety to Israel. Through the Messiah, Israel will be a light to all the nations. The Messiah’s kingdom on earth is the goal toward which all of the book of Isaiah points. It is during the reign of the Messiah that God’s righteousness will be fully revealed to the world.
